Martin Swindell
Board Member

Bringing more than 20 years of experience across finance, technology, and enterprise strategy, Martin Swindell has guided global manufacturing, consumer, and service organizations through growth and transformation. His leadership reflects a broad understanding of how investment decisions, business priorities, and strategic direction come together to move an enterprise forward.

Most recently, Martin served as Chief Financial Officer of Newly Weds Foods, a privately held global food company, where he led both the finance and information technology organizations. Prior to that, he spent 14 years at VF Corporation, the publicly traded parent company of leading apparel and footwear brands including Vans, The North Face, and Timberland. As Head of Corporate Development, he advised the enterprise on capital allocation and led acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. Earlier roles across Corporate FP&A, Treasury, and Internal Audit gave him experience across the full spectrum of enterprise finance, from planning and capital structure to governance, risk, and financial control. This breadth of experience builds on a foundation established early in his career in the assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

As a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA and a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from Elon University, Martin has built a career spanning business leadership, strategic transformation, and enterprise growth. This multidisciplinary background continues to shape the perspective he brings to organizations and leadership teams today.

Martin lives in the Chicago area with his family and continues to work with organizations across the sectors he knows well. His leadership approach is grounded in transparency, disciplined execution, and alignment between capital and strategy, helping organizations turn financial insight into strategic action that supports sustainable growth and long-term value.
